Reasons to Invest Artificial turf has become integral to the current culture of high school athletics. This field will allow us to compete with our strongest competitors, as the surface will enhance the speed and accuracy of our athletes and decrease the number of sports-related injuries with the creation of a smooth, level surface. The ability to host playoff games on our home field will expand competitive opportunities within the CHSAA League. Fewer cancellations of practices and games due to inclement weather will increase opportunities to compete and practice all year long. Physical Education classes will enjoy use of this brand-new field to broaden the physical education curriculum. The beauty of the existing campus will be enhanced with this addition, and serve to attract prospective students searching for state-of-the-art facilities. The field will serve to unify, not only the Athletics Department, but the entire Maria Regina Community through its use for long-standing traditions, such as Pep Rally, Field Day and Graduation.
